The fact is that for the electronic viewfinder there are usually two modes:
1. Simulates the brightness of the image that will be obtained with the set parameters (shutter speed, aperture, ISO).
2. Always shows a bright image.
Usually, in the studio we set up such settings, in which without a flash the image would be too dark. The camera does not know that the flash will fire, so it thinks that the picture will be really dark. It is this dark image that the camera shows in the viewfinder.
To work comfortably in the studio, you need to enable the second mode.
In this video, we showed how this is done in the Fujifilm X-T20.
If you know how this mode switches in your camera, please write about it in the comments to this video. We hope that this information will be useful to us, among other things, for conducting studio shooting sessions. After all, sometimes this setting can be very difficult to find.
